Hear the band that played at the 2009 Keaton Convention! The West End Jazz Band tackles yet another facet of entertainment from America's Jazz Age by recording a recreation of a live Coon-Sanders radio broadcast. This was done to commemorate the Coon-Sanders Nighthawks' only live performance at the historic Blue Lantern Dance Hall in Hudson Lake, Indiana, on Sunday, August 9th, 1931. This 15-minute show, along with fourteen other selections, will take you for a delicious, ear-pleasing ride through America's popular music of the 1920s and 30s.
Note to Buster Fans - this CD contains a rousing version of The Free and Easy!
